We have four entrances to our buildings. You may enter for any event through any of them. One is at the front and another at the back of our newest addition, the Education Building. It’s the one to the left of our main Worship Center (the building with the steeple on top).
Another entrance is at the front of our Worship Center, which is the center building on our campus. (We don’t use the older building on the right anymore.) Greeters will be happy to give you a bulletin and show you to the Sanctuary, or help you find a Bible study group.
We also have greeters at the front entrance to our Worship Center. Don’t let the steps there scare you. There is a ramp, too. We also have greeters at the side entrance to our Worship Center. It’s on the ground floor between the WC and our older building. It has a portico, and there’s an elevator just inside the door.
There are handicap parking spaces near that entrance in front of the Education Building and near the fence behind it. We also have parking for Senior Adults in front of the Education Building, and parking for everyone behind the Worship Center and to the right of our older, original Sanctuary.
We look forward to meeting you in person
1. You’ll be genuinely welcomed.
FBC Ashville has a culture where friendliness is more than a greeting at the door. People care about one another, notice when someone is hurting, celebrate when life is going well, and try to make guests feel sincerely at home.
2. Your whole family can grow together.
There are Bible Study Groups for children, students, and adults, nursery care for the youngest kids, Pastor’s Pals during worship, Children’s Church for younger children, and student ministry opportunities throughout the week.
3. Worship is engaging and Christ-centered.
A typical service includes Scripture, prayer, biblical preaching, and a blend of hymns and newer worship songs led by our Music Minister, praise team, praise band, and orchestra. It sounds full and vibrant without losing its focus on worshiping Jesus.
4. It’s easy to find community.
With Sunday morning Bible Study Groups, Wednesday meals, ministry opportunities, and people from a wide variety of ages and stages of life, there are many natural ways to move from simply attending to actually knowing people and being known.
5. There are meaningful ways to make a difference.
FBC Ashville isn't focused only on what happens inside the building. Through community outreach, care for the homebound and widowed, special events, children’s and student ministries, music, and other service opportunities, people can put their faith into action.
Visiting FBC Ashville for the first time? We’d love to have you! Bible Study Groups begin at 9:00 AM, and worship begins at 10:00 AM in the Worship Center—the building with the large steeple. Most people park in the large lot behind the newer buildings, and you’ll find signs and friendly volunteers ready to help you find your way.
Come dressed however you feel comfortable—you’ll see everything from suits to shorts and sandals. If you have children, nursery care is available for infants through age two, and we have Bible Study Groups and age-appropriate worship opportunities for kids and students.
Most importantly, don’t worry about knowing exactly where to go or what to do. Just come on in—we’ll be glad you’re here, and we will help you find your place!
On Sunday mornings, we offer Bible Study Groups for kids and students of all ages. During worship, nursery care is available for infants through two-year-olds, while children age three and up begin the service with their families.
Most Sundays, kids age three through sixth grade are invited forward for Pastor’s Pals, a short message just for them. Afterward, children in second grade and younger are dismissed to Children’s Church for a Bible lesson, games, crafts, and recreation.
We want kids to feel included, loved, and excited to learn about Jesus.
Our Bible Study Groups are open to everyone, and there is always room for someone new! Most groups meet on Sunday mornings, while a few gather at other times during the week. Some are centered around a particular stage of life, while others include a wonderful mix of ages and backgrounds.
We would be happy to help you find a group that feels like a good fit. You can call, email, or stop by the church office, and we’ll gladly walk you through the different options and connect you with a group leader. You can also arrive a little before 9:00 AM on Sunday, and one of our volunteers will be happy to point you in the right direction.
We are located in the heart of Ashville, AL, near the intersection of US-231 and US-411, just off exit 166 from I-59. The church campus is located across the street from the traditional courthouse and town square. There is a Shell gas station immediately across from our sanctuary and main entrance.
Every Sunday, Bible Study Groups for all ages meet at 9:00 AM throughout our church campus. Our worship service begins at 10:00 AM in the Worship Center—the building with the large steeple.
On Wednesday evenings, we gather for a churchwide meal at 5:00 PM during the fall, winter, and spring. At 6:00 PM, we offer Adult Bible Study & Prayer, age-appropriate Bible studies and activities for children, and a worship service for students. We’d love for you to join us!
Great question! Most people park in our large main parking lot behind the newer church buildings.
We also have a limited number of spaces reserved for guests and senior adults on the west side of campus, near the building connected to our Worship Center. Additional parking is available on the east side of campus near our former sanctuary.
Handicap parking spaces are located beneath the enclosed walkway between our older and newer sanctuaries. These spaces provide the easiest access to our elevator.
If the main lots are full, don’t worry! Overflow parking is available in the grassy field beside the main parking lot. You’ll also find directional signs throughout campus, and our volunteers will be happy to help you find the best place to park and point you in the right direction.
Yes! We love having kids at FBC Ashville and provide age-appropriate opportunities for them to learn, worship, and grow.
On Sunday mornings, we offer Bible Study Groups for children and teenagers of all ages. During our worship service, nursery care is available for infants through two-year-olds. Children age three through sixth grade begin the service in the Worship Center with their families and participate in our time of singing and worship together.
On most Sundays, children from age three through sixth grade are invited to the front for Pastor’s Pals, a short, kid-friendly message from our Lead Pastor. Afterward, children in second grade and younger are dismissed to Children’s Church for the remainder of the service, where they enjoy a Bible lesson along with games, crafts, and recreation.
We want kids to know they are an important part of our church family while also giving them opportunities to learn about Jesus in ways designed just for them.
A typical Sunday service at FBC Ashville is warm, family-friendly, and centered on Jesus. Worship is usually led by our Music Minister, praise team, praise band, and orchestra, with a blend of hymns and newer worship songs. Our praise band includes drums, guitars, keyboards, and bass, while our orchestra adds brass, woodwinds, and other instruments. Our choir typically joins us for special Sundays such as Christmas and Easter.
Our services also include prayer, Scripture, and biblical preaching. On most Sundays, children are invited to the front for Pastor’s Pals, a special message just for them. Whether you have been in church your whole life or are visiting for the first time, we want you to feel comfortable and welcome as we worship Jesus together.
There are many ways to get involved at FBC Ashville, and we would love to help you find a place to serve.
Throughout the year, volunteers help with community outreach and special events such as our Christmas Mission, Trunk or Treat, Vacation Bible School, Wild Game Dinner, and Ladies’ Luncheons. We also have ongoing opportunities to care for homebound members of our church and community, as well as widows and widowers.
If you enjoy music, our Music Ministry offers opportunities for singers and instrumentalists to serve as part of our praise team, praise band, and orchestra.
There are many other ministry and service opportunities throughout the church as well. Some are open to guests and regular attenders, while others are reserved for church members. Because we take the care and safety of children and students seriously, those who serve in our children’s and youth ministries must be church members and complete our volunteer application and background check process.
The best way to get started is to contact the church office, stop by and visit with us in person, or connect with one of our pastors. We’ll be glad to learn more about your interests and help you find the right place to serve and get involved.

Come as you are! On any given Sunday, you’ll see everything from suits and dresses to jeans, shorts, and sandals—and plenty in between. There is no dress code at FBC Ashville. We want you to feel comfortable and welcome, so wear whatever you normally feel comfortable wearing. We simply encourage everyone to dress with modesty and consideration for others.
